The Cyclus Tools thread cutting tool allows you to re-cut the thread of the fork tube.
Before you start with the thread cutting process, you should first clean the fork tube. Then place the cutting blade (guide) at right angles to the steerer tube on the thread of the fork. Make sure that you turn the tool exactly onto the existing thread and do not tilt it. This prevents damage to the existing thread.
Please note that the fork thread cutting tool is only used for re-tapping an existing thread on the fork.

Note: Use an oil suitable for the material for the cutting process. It is also recommended that the tool be cleaned and oiled on a regular basis, which will increase the service life of the tool.
