” My> Next, I worked on the ‘extra’ lug to give you more support when leaning the bike over so that there is a consistent feeling all the way onto the side lugs. And that is how we move on to talk about my all-time favourite tyre – the HighRoller. Maxxis engineers and I redesigned the HighRoller side lugs so that they had pretty much the same characteristics as the original did. But with the support provided by the extra lug, you have the ultimate wingman when cutting hard through flat turns.
In the end I took the lug height from the Shorty. The lugs are well-supported, which enables the raised tread to easily bite into forest soil and dry, dusty ground.”
