The conversion kit Hitch B by Weber comprises the hitch B with stand and a suitable tow bar connection with lock for your trailer.

Bicycles with trailers need a solid and stable stand, especially when loading or unloading. The Weber Hitch B was developed for this purpose.
This hitch is the most commonly used rear hitch with integrated stand for bicycles with a wheel size of 26″ and 28″ . With secure tension strap mounting, it is the first choice for everyday use and touring.
The stable and steplessly adjustable stand has an extra wide base, gibing the bike a secure stand even on loose ground.

Compatibility:

The conversion kit is suitable for unbraked and braked bicycle trailers for transporting goods and children.
A tube diameter of 12 mm up to max. 25 mm is required for mounting the tensioning strap.

Note:
Because of the various shapes of bicycle dropout and shifter designs, hitches are not generally suitable for all bicycles. If you have a disc brake or other attachments near the dropout, compatibility must be checked before installation. If installation is not possible there due to the design of the frame, Hitch E can be used as an alternative. Longer quick-release axles or a replacement axle are also often necessary. Especially very sporty mountain bikes and modern hub gears require special polygons (these are special anti-twist washers for the bicycle hub).
Weber therefore recommends installation by a specialist dealer.

Cannot be used with:

• tube diameters less than 12 mm or more than 25 mm
• full suspension bikes
• to large or obstructed frames (connecting stays or brake calliper mounts)
• bicycles made of carbon or have a carbon rear triangle

To connect a trailer to a Weber hitch, you need the matching tow bar connector. To do this, you must measure the outer diameter of the tow bar of your existing trailer. The inner diameter is only relevant for very thick tow bars. In our range of products, you will find different versions of tow bar connectors from which you can choose the one with the right diameter for your trailer. All models listed here are lockable.

Adjustments (e.g. shortening, drilling) to the tow bar or connector may be necessary for some trailer models. We therefore recommend that you contact our trained service team. Our workshop specialists are there to help you in word and deed and, if necessary, make the modifications for you.
