With the 105 R7000 2×11 disc brake groupset, Shimano now also equips its mid-range series with a level of braking power that no rim brake has ever achieved. In addition, as usual, the 105 benefits directly from other technologies previously introduced on Dura-Ace and Ultegra. Included are a 2-speed crankset (39-53 T), an 11-speed cassette (11-28, 11-30 or 11-32 T), braze-on front derailleur, rear derailleur, Quick-Link chain and, of course, the ready-to-mount disc brake set with two flat-mount calipers and shift/brake levers (STI). Road bike beginners, hobby cyclo-crossers or gravel lovers will appreciate the advantages of the modernised 105 groupset – like its predecessors available in black and silver.
