The Shimano XTR 12-speed wear set consists of the CS-M9100 cassette and the CN-M9100 chain with Quick-Link chain lock. Whether you prefer the widest possible range or a steady pedalling rhythm – you always get competition-ready drivetrain components that feature top technologies.

The Shimano XTR 12-speed cassette CS-M9100-12 is available in two versions: 10-45 T for cross-country racers, where every gram counts and even gradation is desired, and 10-51 T for trail and enduro riders, for whom a wide range is important and who also want to excel on the steepest ramps. Shimano calls the first version ” Rhythm Step” , the second is called ” Wide Range” . All CS-M9100 cassettes are made of three different materials – steel, titanium and aluminium. They are only compatible with the innovative Shimano Micro Spline freehub system. Groundbreaking Hyperglide+ technology ensures that you can even continue pedalling while shifting.

The Shimano CN-M9100 chain for XTR 12-speed has enlarged inner plates which create a perfect connection to the Dynamic Chain Engagement+ chainring. In this way, it contributes significantly to smooth shifting performance. Vibrations are avoided, chain hold is improved and pedalling efficiency is increased (HG technology). The SIL-TEC coating of the outer plates and rollers ensures smoother, low-wear running. CN-M9100 chains come with hollow-formed pins to save weight and are directional. The matching SM-CN910-12 Quick-Link master link is included.
